The PROJECT

The Accessible Communications Project (ACP) by Community Concepts; in collaboration with Gen Mobile and Excess Telecom is offering connectivity solutions for eligible households. Connectivity devices include cell phones, tablets, data packages, and discounted internet connectivity services.

The IMPORTANCE

ACP by Community Concepts also offers TRAINING to help you get the most out of your device and obtain the highest level of independence. We want to ensure that you not only have access to affordable connectivity but that you can also employ the technology to become more empowered in today's globalized economy.

HOW DO I QUALIFY?

Individuals receiving the following benefits are typically eligible for services:

  • Food Stamps
  • Medicaid
  • Unemployment
  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
  • Pell Grant Recipients in the Current Year
  • Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
  • Federal Public Housing Assistance or Section 8
  • Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC)
  • National School Lunch Program (NSLP)
  • Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance
  • Individuals may also qualify for the program if their income is less than or equal to 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines

2. ACCEPTABLE PROOF(S) OF ADDRESS

Utility bill (excluding phone bill from applicant's Lifeline provider)
Current income statement from an employer, paycheck stub, or W-2 form
Most recent state, federal, or Tribal Tax return
Current mortgage or lease statement
